Our story
Meet the Owners
The Caragiorgio family, and the village we're building.
Hi, I'm Michaela. I'm a mom to three boys, and I started Busy Feet with my husband, Alex.
If you've ever tried to find a babysitter around here, you probably know the feeling of texting everyone you know, checking Facebook groups, hoping someone's free, and crossing your fingers. I've been there. Before I had kids of my own, I spent years as a nanny, so I also know what it's like to be the person a family trusts with their little ones.
I love connecting great, enthusiastic sitters who genuinely love kids, with families who just need someone reliable they can count on. Every sitter on Busy Feet is someone I have met, interviewed, and reference-checked myself. I only hire people that I would trust with my own boys.
That's also why we built the Village Fund. A little from every family who joins goes straight into it: $5 from every enrollment and $1 from every booking. The Fund sponsors memberships and date nights for local families going through a hard season, families referred to us by churches, schools, and counselors.
Needing a hand shouldn't mean going without someone you trust to watch your kids. If Busy Feet can help one family breathe a little easier because their whole village showed up for them, then it is doing exactly what we built it to do.
My goal with Busy Feet is to help parents find their village, and to help wonderful sitters find great families to work for.
